Michael Epp
Michael and his wife, Gayle, have been residents of Jamaica Plain since 1980. He has been active with JP Centre/South Main Streets since 1989, first as a volunteer on the Design Committee, then as Design Chairman from 1993 to 2008. The Design Committee assisted with the revitalization of 31 storefronts along Centre and South Streets. In 2010, he became a member of the executive board, helping to get First Thursdays started, developing a Master Plan for Centre/South, and leading the redevelopment of South Street Park. Recently he was elected to the American Institute of Architects – College of Fellows. He loves JP and is dedicated to making our “main street” welcoming to all our neighbors. Michael also serves on the boards of Loring Greenough House, the Sumner Hill Association, and was an advisor to The Footlight Club for many years.
