Launch of our Mentoring/Networking Group

On Thursday, Feb 15, 2018, JP Centre/South Main Streets hosted our first meeting for our Mentoring and Networking group for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Our goal was to provide a forum for small business owners and entrepreneurs of varying experience to come together and provide support and advice for each other. By opening up an informal discussion, we hoped to encourage participants to share their specific concerns and experiences in their business. The result was a wealth of information and resources for all who attended. Even our “experienced” attendees found out something new!

Mentoring and Networking Lunch

JPCSMS hosted our first Mentoring and Networking lunch for small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Thank you to all who attended, and we hope to see you at our next meeting. These meetings are free and open to the public – current, new, and potential business owners are welcome. Share your experience, ask your questions, and create a network of support for you and other businesses in Jamaica Plain. A big thank you to our volunteer, Renee Wong, who researched resources, coordinated participants for the meeting, and brought her own expertise to bear!

Stay tuned for more information about our next meeting.
