It’s a FREE day of improv at The Riot Theater, Boston’s home for improv, sketch, and stand up in Jamaica Plain. New shows and classes start every hour, and the day will end with an improv jam, open to all. They’ll have delicious pizza generously provided from awesome neighbors at Italian Pizza & Subs, and prizes from local JP businesses. The Riot Theater is located at 146A South Street.
Courtney Pong is the co-owner and general manager of ComedySportz at the Riot Theater, along with Betse Green. Together they have over 31 years of performing improv comedy. The theater and shows are expanding quickly; they have expanded their offerings to include workshops for applied improv, such as teambuilding for kids and corporations, what to talk about on your first date, and fundraising opportunities for schools.
