Today, it’s a holiday shopping tradition celebrating a greater nationwide movement dedicated to uniting communities and supporting all kinds of small businesses, from the corner store to your favorite diner — because it’s unique small businesses like yours that help local communities stay vibrant.
Shop Small with JP Centre/South Main Streets
Participating in Small Business Saturday is a great way to reach new customers and promote your business. Here are some ideas for getting involved on Nov 25:
- Let your community know that you plan to participate in Small Business Saturday. Visit ShopSmall.com/YourDay for free promotional assets, like ready-made social posts, to show your support.
- By Nov 25, transform your store. We want all of our shops on Centre and South Streets to be holiday ready! This will welcome visitors to our district with the right mood for holiday shopping.
- Connect with other organizations in your community to see how you can work together on Small Business Saturday events and promotions.
JP Centre/South Main Streets has welcome mats, posters, balloons, pens, buttons, and printed materials to help you promote Small Business Saturday at your location. Please contact us to receive materials. We can also share digital pictures and materials for you to post on your social media accounts.
JP Centre/South Main Streets will also have a Welcome Table for shoppers outside of JP Licks on Centre Street. Shoppers can come by for a free tote bag and complimentary hot cider. We will be there to answer questions and give recommendations for visitors to Jamaica Plain! Join us this Nov 25 to celebrate Small Business Saturday.
