On Saturday, March 23, 2019, the Blue Frog Bakery celebrated their 15th Anniversary with a big party, cake, and mimosas! Mayor Marty Walsh was on hand to cut the cake. The Mayor, City Councillor Matt O’Malley, State Representative Liz Malia, and State Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz shared some words about the longevity of this business, and owner Brad Brown’s involvement in the community. Brad Brown received honorary citations from both the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!

Afterwards, Mayor Walsh cut the chocolate mousse cake, much to the delight of the bakery’s youngest customers! Mayor Walsh also toured the bakery and learned a little about how Blue Frog makes their bagels!
It was a great turnout from the community. Many thanks to those who made it possible, including Mayor Marty Walsh and his office, Matt O’Malley and Will Poff-Websiter, Sonia Chang-Diaz, Liz Malia and Natalie Kaufman, ONS liaison Alexandra Valdez and Enrique Jose Pepen, Neighborhood Business Manager Emily Patrick, Public Works, and the E-13 police detail!
