JP Centre/South Main Streets has created an Emergency Loan Fund for small businesses in the JP Centre/South Main Streets district. It is a revolving micro-loan fund for our small businesses who have experience a catastrophic emergency that prevents your business from operating.
The loan is:
- –Low to 0% interest
- –For emergency use only, i.e. businesses cannot operate without it.
- –Loans are $5000 or less for expenses not covered by insurance.
- –Paid back with donation of interest to build the fund for future use.
All requests are reviewed and approved by JP Centre/South Main Streets. All businesses and nonprofits in the district are eligible, however, they must demonstrate catastrophic circumstances and immediate need. Recipients will be asked to sign a promissory note.
Funds cannot be used for capital projects or regular and expected business needs.
