Councilor Matt O’Malley Says Goodbye at JPCSMS Annual Meeting

Thank you to all who were able to join us for our 2021 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. We heard from board members and the executive director about our work in 2020. We also heard from City Councilor Matt O’Malley. In an emotional moment, he shared exactly how deep his connection to our community really is, and his beautiful growing daughter! JP Centre/South Main Streets is extraordinarily grateful to the work that Matt O’Malley has done for our community. He continues to reveal his generosity as he announced a $1000 match for any donations made during the event! It was further matched by Josh Muncey, of the Muncey Group, and board member!

Down to business, we also elected two new board members – Deborah Karson and Michael Epp. Deborah Karson is a local photographer who led #thefrontstepsproject here in Jamaica Plain. Michael Epp is a former board member who is returning to serve.

For those who were unable to attend, you’ll be able to view our PowerPoint, which was shown during the meeting.

We also featured video testimonials from some of our local businesses who worked with JP Centre/South Main Streets this year. You can watch them on our YouTube Channel here.

The official Annual Report is also available for download below.

Thanks to Matt O’Malley for capturing our only picture of the event!
