Building Relationships

I had the great pleasure to meet the new Small Business team at JP Neighborhood Development Corporation. Ginger Brown, Executive Director of JP Centre/South Main Streets, met with Tia Jackson, Director Small Business Services, and Yari DeJesus, Associate Director of Small Business at JPNDC, along with Giovanny Valencia, Director of Community Organizing at JPNDC.

It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss shared goals and possible collaborations, as well as review the ways that we have both served our Jamaica Plain. I always appreciate building relationships with everyone that I can in the community, because you never know where the really good ideas will come from, and who can be a great partner in the future.

I look forward to working with both Tia and Yari as they take on their new roles at JPNDC, and seeing the great impact that they will have on the small business community in and around Jamaica Plain.
