LuMeNet: Black History Month

We had a great turnout at our Lunch for Mentoring & Networking on February 27, 2024. Our guest speaker and board member, Jabrina Pullum, owner of VX at 668 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, shared her experiences in opening her small business, and advice for those on the same journey. The highlight of the session was hearing about multiple resources available not just from JP Centre/South Main Streets, but organizations around Boston, Massachusetts, and nationally. Anyone who is interested in starting and running their own business enterprise should know that there is always help available.

LuMeNet is a program offered by JP Centre/South Main Streets and takes place every other month at the Jamaica Plain Branch of the Boston Public Library. This program is always free and open to all. A complimentary lunch is usually provided. We encourage an informal discussion where small business owners, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in learning more about starting a business can ask their questions in a safe environment and get support from others with similar experiences. To learn about our next LuMeNet, please sign up for our email newsletter.
