Congratulations to our 2026 Volunteer of the Year – Rosanna Baez!
Rosanna Baez, owner of Prophecy of the Beauty Salon and JP Centre/South Main Streets Board Member, was recognized at the Boston Main Streets Foundation Award Ceremony, on Monday, October 26, 2026. Rosanna has been a steadfast and enthusiastic supporter of JP Centre/South Main Streets and our events, going above and beyond to promote our events, engage our small businesses, and reach out to the community. We are so proud to have her as a board member.
Prophecy of the Beauty is located at 152 South Street in Jamaica Plain.
Our 2026 Business of the Year, Sweet Pea & Sage, was also recognized at the ceremony. Owner Deidre McKenna was unable to attend. Sweet Pea & Sage has been an active contributor to our community events, a connection to our residents and businesses, and revitalized a portion of the district that is historically underserved. It has been a joy to see their part of the district “blossom” since they opened.
CONGRATULATIONS!
